Caeruli Obscuri.
We are cartographers of the publicly invisible. We turn open signal ˜ satellite, sensor, document, transmission ˜ into operational clarity for agencies and operators who cannot staff a research arm of their own.
Four disciplines, one pipeline.
Every engagement converges on the same engine: ingest, fuse, interrogate, deliver. We adapt the surface to the customer; the substrate stays the same.
Geospatial Intelligence
Continuous change detection over fires, emissions, encroachment, infrastructure, illicit activity. Sentinel, Landsat, NAIP, commercial tasking when required.
Signal & Source Fusion
AIS, ADS-B, FAA, EPA, USGS, court records, permit databases, scraped public archives ˜ correlated and timestamped against geographic and entity graphs.
Bespoke Instrumentation
Custom field hardware where the off-the-shelf stops. ESP32 sensor arrays, mesh-networked tactical comms, 3D-printed enclosures, drone payloads built to a specific operational question.
AI Integration
Model-aware automation built into the analyst's workflow ˜ not bolted on. Privacy-preserving pipelines, human-in-the-loop triage, retrieval-grounded reasoning over your own corpus.
How we work,
and what we will not do.
Open sources, professional handling.
Everything we touch is publicly available. That does not mean it can be redistributed, weaponized, or treated carelessly. We read licenses. We document provenance. We honor terms of use.
Decision support, not decision authority.
We deliver analysis with confidence intervals, dissenting interpretations, and what the data cannot tell you. The agency, operator, or client makes the call. We document our reasoning so they can defend theirs.
Pipelines over one-offs.
The first delivery is bespoke. The fifth is a product. We deliberately build infrastructure that compounds: each engagement makes the next faster, cheaper, and more rigorous.
Privacy as a first principle.
Client data is pseudonymized before it crosses a model boundary when feasible. We architect for the world where the data leaks ˜ not the world where it never does.
Honest scope, honest price.
We will tell you when the question you asked is not the question that gets you the answer you need. We will tell you when you do not need us. We would rather lose the engagement than scope it dishonestly.
Where we are looking.
A working list. We expect this to shift as engagements land. Status flags reflect internal readiness, not customer commitment.
Open a file.
If you operate an agency, a watchdog, a fund, or a county and you have a question the open world can probably answer ˜ tell us the question. A first conversation is free, brief, and confidential. We will tell you honestly whether we are the right shop.
